No security concerns during Durga Puja ahead of polls: DMP commissioner

Online Desk: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman said that there is no security threat during the Durga Puja ahead of the elections.
“The puja will be celebrated in 248 mandaps in Dhaka Metropolitan area. Security have beefed up in all the centers, except seven puja centres,” the DMP Chief brief this to the reporters after visiting Dhakeshwari temple in old Dhaka on Thursday (October 19).
Manindra Kumar Nath, president of Mahanagar Sarbajanin Puja Committee; Romen Mandal, general secretary; additional DMP commissioner and other senior officials were also present.
