One killed as gas cylinder of truck blasts at Mugda pump station

Online Desk: A truck helper was killed after the gas cylinder of the vehicle exploded while it was refilled at a pump station in the capital’s Mugda area early Tuesday. Another person was also injured in the incident.
Deceased Saddam, 25, was standing near the truck when the incident happened. Mugda Police Station Md Mubaidul Islam said the truck was refilling gas at Best Eastern CNG Filling Station around 5am. Suddenly, the gas cylinder exploded with a big bang, leaving Saddam dead on the spot.
Another labour of the truck was also injured. The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
