Online Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been given the responsibility to choose and nominate the presidential candidate, said the party’s general secretary Obaidul Quader. Emerging from a meeting of the Awami League Parliamentary Party (ALPP) held at Level-9 of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the capital on Tuesday night, Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges minister, said the ALPP gave the responsibility to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of choosing and nominating a candidate for the next president of the country. Quader also said that no particular name for the presidential candidate was discussed at the meeting.
