Reform commission to propose dropping of word ‘Cadre’ from civil service

Online Desk  :   The newly formed Public Administration Reform Commission will recommend the removal of the term ‘Cadre’ from the civil service. Md Mokhles Ur Rahman, senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, shared the information after a meeting of the commission at the secretariat in Dhaka on Sunday. He said that the term 'Cadre' is perceived negatively so the commission will propose to drop the word from the civil service.
