Sacrificial animals’ wastes to be removed within 24hrs : City mayors

Online Desk : The city corporation mayors --Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam-- have announced to remove the sacrificial animal’s wastes  within 24 hours. Online Desk : The city corporation mayors –Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam– have announced to remove the sacrificial animal’s wastes  within 24 hours. They told this while talking to reporters after Eid prayers at the Jatiya Eidgah maidan this morning. Mayor Taposh said with over 350 vehicles and additional support from various departments, more than 10,000 individuals will be employed for waste removal operations. The central control room has already initiated coordination efforts, aiming to replicate the success of the previous year’s waste management operation. The mayor has requested citizens to complete the slaughter of animals within two days and avoid prolonging the process until the third day. Mayor Atiqul has urged residents not to dispose of garbage indiscriminately and instead use designated waste collection points. He said about 11,000 workers are engaged in waste management and urged the public to support their efforts.
