Online Desk : Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury on Monday said the situation of the country is not suitable to open the educational institutions right now. He said this in response to a query from the journalists during a meeting with public university teachers at the Education Ministry over pension issue. The reporters asked him about opening the educational institutions as some students seeking quota reforms took to the streets today, too.
The situation is not conducive to open these right now, Mohibul replied, adding that they will discuss with those concerned in this regard. Asked whether the Cabinet meeting discussed opening of the primary schools, the minister declined to comment.
