Tarique Rahman reaches Rajshahi

Online Desk : BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has reached Rajshahi to join a election rally there. He is scheduled to speak at the Rajshahi Madrasa playground rally at 2PMas the chief guest. At around 12:15PM, a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying Tareq Rahman landed at Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi.After a long 22 years, the BNP chief went to the district. After concluding this rally, Tarique Rahman will proceed to Naogaon and join a public meeting at the ATM field. From Naogaon, he will travel to Bogura, where he will attend another rally at Altafunnessa Maidan in the evening.
From around 9AM, the party supporters began arriving at the venue in trucks and buses from Rajshahi and neighbouring districts, carrying flags, banners and placards. General public are also waiting forTarique Rahman to see him once nearer. Half of the field has already been filled with people. A large number of people are also gathered in the surrounding areas of the field. The residents’ expectations are that Tarique Rahman will outline a development roadmap for Rajshahi at this public rally. Some are calling for a terrorism-free country, while others are demanding safety and security for ordinary citizens.
