Online Desk: Metro rail services resumed after two and a half hours of suspension due to a technical glitch in the overhead electric lines
Metro rail services were suspended from 9:31am today, Iftikhar Hossain, general manager (operations) of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd, said.
After fixing the problems, rail services resumed around 11:47am, he said. This was the second time operations of metro rail were halted because of technical problems.
On August 7, metro rail services started 40 minutes late due to a technical problem on the tracks.
