Technical glitch shuts Rampal power plant’s production again

Online Desk: Again Rampal coal-based thermal power plant has been shut since 9:30pm on Friday (September 15) due to a technical glitch.
With this, the production of the plant was stopped eight times in the last nine months. One of its officials said the production of the plant remained shut due to technical problems, not for coal shortage.
Earlier, on July 16, the production of Rampal thermal power plant stopped due to turbine malfunction. After the repair of the turbine, the production resumed from July 20.
