Online Desk: The two-day long shipping secretary-level meeting between Bangladesh and India began at a hotel in Dhaka on Tuesday morning.
Senior secretary of the Shipping Ministry M Mustafa Kamal and Secretary of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways of India TK Ramachandran are leading their respective countries.
The meeting of the Standing Committee under Protocol on Inland Water Transit and Trade (PIWT&T) and the meeting of Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) are being held today.
Additional Secretary (Organization-1) of the Ministry of Shipping Sheikh Md. Sharif Uddin and Chairman of Inland Waterways Authority of India Sanjay Bandopadhyay are leading their respective sides.
