Online Desk: A young woman who was in a private car died after being hit by a bus on Dhaka-Mawa highway on Saturday morning. The dead was Fatematuz Zohra Ratri, 25, daughter of Latifur Rahman, a resident of Bank Colony area in Savar. It was learnt that Ratri went Mawa with her friends by a private car early in the morning. Online Desk: A young woman who was in a private car died after being hit by a bus on Dhaka-Mawa highway on Saturday morning. The dead was Fatematuz Zohra Ratri, 25, daughter of Latifur Rahman, a resident of Bank Colony area in Savar.

It was learnt that Ratri went Mawa with her friends by a private car early in the morning. On the way, a bus rammed the private car from behind while the car was standing on the side of the road at around 8 am. Ratri fell on the road from the car.

She was rescued and rushed to Munshiganj Upazila Health Complex where the doctors referred her to Dhaka. Later, she died when was brought to Dhaka Medical College from there. Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost in-charge Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
