“Young entrepreneurs are very crucial segment of the society for building Smart Bangladesh of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he told a programme of laptop distribution among 745 women trainees of Feni, Lakshmipur and Chandpur, an official release said.

Palak said the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has created employment opportunity in the IT sector as massive programme has been implemented in the past 15 years in the country.

He said, “Nearly 20 lakh young people are working in IT sector … Bangladesh is earning 1.9 billion US dollar through exporting IT products to different countries.”
