Biswa Ijtema: 4 devotees die; death toll now 7

The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Four more devotees died due to old age complications at the Ijtema venue in Tongi between last night and this morning. So far, seven devotees have died at the Ijtema venue, reports our Gazipur correspondent quoting Ashraful Islam, officer-in-charge of Tongi East Police Station. The deceased were identified as Mofazzal Hossain Khan, 70; Haji Mohammad Habibullah Habi, 68; Habibur Rahman Habi, 70; and Abdul Razzaq, 70, the OC said.  The first phase of Ijtema will end tomorrow with Akheri Munajat (final prayers).
