2nd phase of Ijtema: Total five devotees die so far

The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Five devotees have, so far, died at Bishwa Ijtema ground during the 2nd phase. With the death of four more from Friday evening to night, the total number of death reached five. They have died due to old age complications. On Saturday, Indian Islamic scholar Maulana Yeakub Ali conducted sermon after Fajr prayers.
Earlier, thousands of devotees from home and abroad attended Jumma prayers, led by Maulana Saad’s son Yusuf bin Saad Kandhalvi, at the Ijtema ground on Friday. The three-day Biswa Ijtema will end on January 22 with Akheri Munajat (final prayers). The first phase of the three-day Bishwa Ijtema ended on January 15.
