Heatwave: Secondary edu institutions under Khulna and Rajshahi divs to remain closed Saturday

Online Desk: All secondary schools, colleges, madrasas and vocational educational institutions under Khulna and Rajshahi divisions will remain closed tomorrow (May 4) due to the continued heat wave across the country.

The decision to close the educational institutions was taken upon the forecast of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), said MA Khayer, information and public relations officer of the Ministry of Education, on Friday.

Moreover, the same instruction will be applicable for the educational institutions in Dhaka, Tangail districts under Dhaka division, Chandpur under Chattogram division, Rangpur, Kurigram, Nilphamari and Dinajpur districts under Rangpur division, he said.
