5 dead in Bogura road accident

Online Desk: Five people died after a Dhaka-bound bus hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw at Banani bypass road in Shahjahanpur upazila of Bogura this morning. The accident took place at 10:30am, said Abdul Jalil, assistant director of Bogura Fire Service Station.

Three passengers of the auto-rickshaw died on the spot and the driver died after he was taken to a local hospital, Abdul Jalil said. Locals set fire to the bus after the accident which was later doused by fire fighters, the official added. The deceased are yet to be identified.
