Dr Umme Fatema Tuz Zahura, a physician of the clinic, said they guessed earlier that the mother would have given birth to one more baby observing her belly as she was their regular patient. The average weight of the babies was 350 to 650 grams. She said they tried desperately to save the lives of the newborn babies but failed. Taslima is now safe.
