The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Ferry and launch movement are suspended on Daulatdia-Paturia route for dense fog. Earlier, due to increasing fog, authorities halted the ferry service from 11:30 pm on Sunday. According to BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat, the ferry operation became risky while the amount of fog increased after Sunday evening. Then the movement was shut around 11:30 on Sunday night to avoid accidents on the waterway.
Meanwhile, at least 250 vehicles were known to be stuck on both sides. BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat associate manager Khorshed Alam confirmed the matter.
