Justice Naima Haider appointed SC Legal Aid Committee chairman

The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Justice Naima Haider of the High Court Division of Supreme Court, has been appointed as chairperson of Supreme Court Legal Aid Committee (SCLAC) which provides legal assistance to poor litigants free of cost.She is the first female chairperson of the Supreme Court Legal Aid Committee which started its journey in September 2014.
Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique made the appointment as the outgoing chairman. Justice Jahangir Hossain Selim was promoted as a judge of the Appellate Division of SC on December 8 last year. The SC administration issued a notification on January 5 to this effect.
