Online Desk: The country’s first metro rail transported 3.35 lakh passengers till yesterday. Metro rail authorities earned Tk 2.46 crore during this time, MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd told reporters today.
He briefed media at DMTCL office ahead of the opening of construction work of the nation’s first underground metro rail on February 2. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the work of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line-1 from a programme at Purbachal area.
