440-kg Hilsa seized while being smuggled to India

Online Desk  :   Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized 440 kilograms of Hilsa fish while being smuggled to India through Cumilla border on Friday. The fish were seized earlier in the morning from Monora border area under Brahmanpara upazila in the district. The market value of the seized fish is Tk 9.68 lakh, and has been sold with the proceeds deposited into the government treasury, added the press release.
