BNP activists gather in Nayapaltan, Police on high alert at Nayapaltan

Online Desk: A large number of police personnel have taken position on the main road beside BNP’s Nayapaltan office. Centering the party’s Friday’s grand rally, police are on high alert in the area to maintain security.
Some BNP leaders and activists were seen gathering in front of the office. But, later, they left the place after police requested them to keep the vehicular movement normal.
Besides, an armored riot car (APC), water cannon and prison van were also seen in front of the the party office. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi went to the party office at 12noon and urged the activists not to gather there before the permission of holding the rally.
