The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Awami League lawmaker Haji Mohammad Salim, who was in a prison cell at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital, has been freed on bail. Dhaka Central Jail’s deputy jailer Md Salim said they freed Haji Salim on Tuesday afternoon according to the court’s rules and removed the prison guards. Earlier this morning, the jail authorities received Haji Salim’s bail paper and went to the hospital with the paper, Md Salim said. On December 6, the Appellate Division granted bail to the Awami League lawmaker in a corruption case.
