Man beaten to death at DU hall

Online Desk  :   A man was beaten to death by the students of Dhaka University on Wednesday night, on suspicion of being a thief. The incident took place at the Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall. The deceased was identified as Tofazzal from Barisal. He was mentally challenged, it was learnt. The deceased was identified as Tofazzal from Barisal. He was mentally challenged, it was learnt. When Tofazzal condition deteriorated at 12midnight, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, a seven-member probe body was formed on Thursday morning. It has been requested to submit the report by this evening. Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall’s resident teacher Prof Alamgir Kabir will lead the committee.
