Nusraat Faria denied bail, sent to jail

Online Desk : A Dhaka court has ordered popular Dhallywood actress Nusraat Faria to be sent to jail after rejecting her bail plea. She was brought to court from Vatara Police Station early Monday (May 19) and kept in the custody of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court in Dhaka.
On Sunday afternoon (May 18), immigration police detained Nusraat Faria at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while she was attempting to travel to Thailand. She was later handed over to Vatara Police. From the police station, she was taken to the Detective Branch (DB) office for questioning. Following the interrogation, she was shown arrested in connection with a case filed at the police station.
