Online Desk: Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, on Sunday, has achieved the Gold Award for the highest remittance collection.
Mashiur Rahman, Economic Affairs adviser to the Prime Minister, handed over the award to Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director & CEO and Miftah Uddin, deputy managing director of Islami Bank at a programme.
The programme, organised by the Centre for NRB, was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon.
M S Shekil Chowdhury, chairperson of the Centre for NRB presided over the function while Shafiqur Rahman Choudhury, minister of state for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Rajib Ahmed, former speaker of London Tower Hamlets Council along with executives and officials of different institutions, were present.
