Online Desk : Preparations are underway to exhume the bodies of three individuals who were shot dead during the recent clash surrounding Nationalist Citizen Party (NCP) rally in Gopalganj. The deceased—Imon Talukder and Ramzan Kazi—are being exhumed from the Gopalganj municipal graveyard, while the body of Sohel Rana Molla is being exhumed from a graveyard in Tungipara.
Earlier, four individuals killed in the clash on Wednesday were buried or cremated without autopsy. Later, Ramzan Munshi, who had been injured in the violence, died while undergoing treatment in Dhaka on Thursday night. His autopsy was conducted the next day at Dhaka Medical College morgue.
Although the exhumation process was scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM at the municipal graveyard in Gopalganj, it had not started as of 12:15 PM. According to police officers present at the scene, the process will commence once the magistrate arrives.
