Sylhet airport to be transformed into full-fledged int’l airport : Jamaat Ameer

Online Desk : Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said that if his party comes to power, Sylhet’s Osmani International Airport will be transformed into a truly full-fledged international airport. Addressing a rally at Kulaura in Moulvibazar on Saturday, he said, ”When the world is moving forward rapidly, we are falling behind. To bring the country out of this situation, visionary and honest leadership is needed.”
He added, regular international flights to major global destinations, including Manchester, will be launched and will not be allowed to be shut down under any circumstances. If anyone stops them, they will be resumed. ”If corruption is eliminated, the country’s productivity will increase and industry and the economy will move forward with new momentum.” Referring to the youth, the Jamaat Ameer said, ”This country will move forward through the hands of the youth. The youth are Bangladesh–this is not just rhetoric, it comes from the heart.
Expressing firm commitment to tea workers, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, ”Moulvibazar is the capital of tea. If I forget the tea workers, I will be forgetting myself. Good health and quality education will be ensured for their children. So that even the child of a tea worker can dream of becoming prime minister, responsibility must be taken not only by garden owners but also by the state.” ”Kulaura is my birthplace. I was born here. At different times, Kulaura has been deprived of development. People did not receive the development they desired. InShaAllah if you vote for Eng Sayed Ali in this election, it will be as if you are voting for me as well.”
