Another Rohingya shot dead at Ukhiya camp

Online Desk: A Rohingya youth was shot to death during an exchange of fire between two groups at Ukhiya camp in Cox's Bazar district on Monday morning. Online Desk: A Rohingya youth was shot to death during an exchange of fire between two groups at Ukhiya camp in Cox’s Bazar district on Monday morning. The incident happened at about 7:30am at Balukhali Camp-8.

The deceased was Iman Hossain, 18, son of Siraj Hossain, a resident of Camp no-10, Block F/14. Another one named Mohammad Nur was also injured in the incident.

A gunfight took place between two groups–Arsa and RSO– in the morning at the camp. Iman Hossain and Nur were critically injured by bullets, according to the camp sources. They were rushed to IMO Hospital under camp-9 where Iman succumbed to his injuries.

Rohingya leader Noor Hossain alias Bhutto was shot to death in his house at D/9 Block of the camp at night on Saturday (June 17).
