Online Desk: A fire that originated from an electrical short circuit has gutted five dwelling houses at Daulatpur Union of Bishwanath Upazila of Sylhet on Friday afternoon.
Locals said a fire broke out from an electric short circuit at one house at Malipara village and later engulfed the four adjacent houses soon.
Sub-Inspector of Biswanath Police Station Redwan said the fire broke out from a electric short circuit. The estimated cost of the damage valuables is worth around Tk 50 lakh.
