Police continue talk to Interpol, Dubai police on Arav issue: IGP

Online Desk: Bangladesh police are communicating with Interpol and Dubai police for the arrest of fugitive accused Rabiul Islam alias Arav Khan, said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun on Saturday. He, however, said that they have no such information on whether Rabiul Islam, accused in the murder of a police official, was detained by Dubai police or not. Meanwhile, Detective Branch of police on April 11, 2019 pressed charges against Arav aka Rabiul, owner of Dubai’s Arav Jewellers, and nine others in a murder case of Mamun Emran Khan, the then inspector of special branch of police.
