According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), there is no possibility of any significant change in the weather today, rather, people will have to endure high temperatures throughout the day like the previous day.
The sky will be clear and the weather may remain dry in Dhaka and surrounding areas. During this time, the wind may blow from the west and southwest at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour, the weather bulletin said. And the day temperature may also remain unchanged. But the heatwave may ease in the next two days, the bulletin also added. The capital city experienced its hottest day of the season on Saturday, with temperatures soaring to 40.1°C. Meanwhile, Chuadanga recorded the season’s highest temperature at a scorching 42°C on Saturday afternoon surpassing Friday’s seasonal high of 41.2 degrees.
