Govt to assist burial, treatment of Bailey Road fire victims: Mohibbur

Online Desk: State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Mohibbur Rahman said the government will provide financial assistance for the burial of those who died in Thursday night’s fire at a multi-storey building in Bailey Road in the capital.
Disaster Management and Relief Ministry will give Taka 25,000 to support the burial of each deceased, he said while talking to reporters present at the scene this morning.
Apart from the assistance for burial, the government will also bear the cost of treatment of those injured in the fire incident, said Mohibbur.
