3 dengue patients die in 24hrs, 97 hospitalized

Online Desk: Three people died from dengue in 24 hours till Sunday morning, raising the fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 16 this year. According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 97 new patients were hospitalised with the viral fever.
Of the new patients, 87 were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and the rest outside it. A total of 387 dengue patients, including 338 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
The DGHS has, so far, recorded 2,376 dengue cases, 1,973 recoveries.
