Online Desk  :   Top-listed terrorist Subrata Bain alias Fateh Ali and his close associate Molla Masud alias Abu Russell Masud have been arrested from Kushtia district in a special operation conducted by the Bangladesh Army. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) shared this information in a press release. It said that based on information received from the arrested terrorists Subrata Bain and Mollah Masud, two other associates of Subrata Bain, shooters Arafat and Sharif, were arrested from the Hatirjheel area of ​​the capital. During the operation, 5 foreign pistols, 10 magazines, 53 rounds of ammunition and 1 satellite phone were recovered. The arrested have cases related to various subversive activities including murder and extortion in different police stations.

Subrata Bain and Molla Masud are the leaders of the Seven Star terrorist group and are among the ’23 top terrorists on the list’. The operation was conducted at 5 am on Tuesday based on specific intelligence information. The operation was completed without any damage or sabotage due to the efficiency of the operation team and the criminals were arrested. Various formations of the Bangladesh Army, various intelligence agencies of the country and the Bangladesh Police played a leading role in implementing this successful operation. The Bangladesh Army is committed to ensuring public security and maintaining law and order.
