This meeting will lead to a mutually beneficial agreement for extending probable support to thepatients who travel to Thailand for Treatment as well as people who are taking treatment in Bangladesh but still looking for a second opinion. A threadbare discussion regarding the possibilities of partnership in between the BNH hospital, Bangkok and Bangladeshi part were taken place.

During discussion, Dr. MD Faridul Islam explained ”theBangladesh Government is always looking for partnerships that benefit the Bangladeshi Citizen. A mutual beneficial program, if supports the Bangladesh, we are always there. I am more into knowledge sharing programs where the health professionals from the both countries can develop.’
On the other hand, Mr. Apichai, being the team leader from BNH in his statement said that they BNH are finding a lot of Bangladesh patients last few years in our hospital premises. This tour for themwere to understand the need of Bangladeshi people & also find out how theycould grow together with Bangladesh & serve the Bangladeshi patients in Anyway.
Mr. Sami Ul Hassan Antu, CEO FlyMedi said, ‘We are working with Thai health professionals for more than 6 years. We have found them very professional & A big group of patients from Bangladesh prefers Thailand. BNH being a BDMS group hospital is reliable & cost effective which is the main key for them to get a lot of Bangladesh patients. If we can ensure more inclusiveness, we can ensure the most support from BNH towards the Bangladesh patients.’

It should be mentioned here that The BNH hospital, formerly known as the Bangkok Nursing Home Hospital, was established originally to provide nursing care for expatriates. The hospital, opened by the British Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. George Grenville, CMG in 1898, was one of the first private hospitals in the Kingdom of Siam (Thailand).
Further more, In 1901, King Rama VI granted the BNH Association, a non-profit making organisation, a royal charter in honour of his father, King Rama V, and provided funds for the hospital to extend its care to Thais. In 1991, the BNH Medical Centre was formed to establish a new international standard hospital to meet the demands of the increasing domestic and international market for private health care.

The new BNH Hospital complex became operational in 1996. Occupying the same two-acre site in Convent Road, it is surrounded by mature trees and tropical greenery, and is located between Silom Road and Sathorn Road, close to the business, financial and entertainment district of Bangkok, It can be reached easily from all parts of the city by road, or by BTS Sky Train, MRT Metro, from the Sala Daeng Station.
BNH Hospital provides the highest quality medical service with specialists and general practitioner doctors completely involved with their patients, from consultation and diagnosis, through to planning and executing treatment, following-up of results, and in surgical cases, post operative card. The concept of ‘the Family Doctor’ is still highly valued at the BNH Hospital.
