BNP leader Chand sued for threatening to kill PM

Online Desk: A case has been filed against Rajshahi district BNP convenor Abu Sayeed Chand under the Anti-Terrorism Act for threatening to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Awami League leader Abul Kalam Azad on Sunday lodged the case with Puthia Police Station. Police are conducting drives to arrest the accused Abu Sayeed Chand, said Rajshahi Range DIG Abdul Baten.
At a rally on May 19 on Shibchar High School playground in Rajshahi’s Puthia upazila, BNP leader Chand said there will be no 27 points or 10 points. The only demand is to send Sheikh Hasina to the grave.
“We will do everything needed to force Sheikh Hasina to resign, InshaAllah”. The video containing his speech went viral on social media.
