Online Desk  :  National Security Committee (NSC), led by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has condemned the Indian attack on Panjab and Pakistan-administered Kashmir on Wednesday, entitling the attack as an ‘act of war’, reports Geo TV. The meeting confirmed that Pakistan reserves the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and that the armed forces are allowed to take ‘befitting’ measures. During the meeting, the NSC also condemned the attack that Pakistan said hit 6 ‘civil infrastructure, including mosques’.

The NSC also praised Pakistani armed forces for ‘downing’ five Indian Fighter jets, including three Rafale, and several drones in an act of self-defense. India decisively targeted mosques and civil establishments and killed several women and children, which are complete violation of international laws, the committee said, blaming India for escalating regional tension. It also reaffirmed its stance for the Pakistani people and regional integrity while calling international community to hold India accountable for the attack.
