Online Desk : A three-member delegation from BNP, led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, began a meeting with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday evening. The meeting commenced at 6 PM at the state guest house Jamuna, confirmed Sayrul Kabir Khan of BNP’s media cell. The delegation also includes BNP Standing Committee members Salahuddin Ahmed and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.
Speaking to reporters before entering the venue, Salahuddin Ahmed said, “We had requested a meeting with the Chief Adviser and he scheduled it for 6 PM on Tuesday. We intend to discuss the upcoming February national election, some administrative issues and the overall situation of the country.” According to party sources, BNP leaders are expected to express concerns over the neutrality of the administration and the Election Commission, as well as raise questions about the electoral environment ahead of the polls.
